Risks of sweets on children's health
Sweets are known to be our children's favorite snacks. To better control their snacking, here are the risks and some of our tips:
Overweight
Sugar, sugar, and more sugar. This pleasant-tasting substance is one of the factors that causes excess weight. However, our children love it, which gives us a hard time. Let's try to instill good eating habits in them, such as limiting the number of sugary biscuits and adding more fruits.
Cavities
Sweets and cavities go hand in hand! Did you know that bacteria feed on sugar residue in the mouth? Let’s make sure our children brush their teeth very well after eating biscuits, chocolates, sweets, etc.
The wardrobe
Our kids are very smart! They know where their favorite sweets are hidden. Some parents hide their snacks in areas that are too visible. We recommend buying a lockable cabinet where you can store all their sweets. Of course, don't forget to hide that key!
